Warehouse bathrooms see heavy use, hard water, and limited maintenance. Renovating them is straightforward — as long as you plan around the realities of an active facility.
Materials matter more here
- Solid surface or epoxy walls instead of drywall
- Floor-mounted commercial-grade fixtures
- Stainless or solid plastic partitions
- Sealed concrete or epoxy floors
Plan for ADA compliance
Any renovation triggering a permit will likely require ADA upgrades. Budget for it from day one.
Stage the work
Most warehouses have a second restroom or can bring in temporary facilities. A 2-week tear-out and rebuild is realistic if you plan staging properly.
